It was nearing sunset and I was waiting at the exit of the Huntington Botanical Gardens for a friend and her mother. I looked up and saw the fruit of this tree swaying in the breeze.
I thought about plucking one of those fruits and tasting it. I then pictured the Garden volunteers attempting CPR and chest compressions as I went into shock from tasting what must surely be a toxic morsel. Once my imagination had run its course, I turned on my camera and took this picture.
